Rosaly M. C. Lopes

Dr. Rosaly M. C. Lopes is an Adjunct Professor of Astronomy at Cornell University's College of Arts and Sciences and Senior Research Scientist at NASA’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory. She serves as Editor-in-Chief of the planetary journal Icarus. Her research focuses on planetary geology and volcanology, with specialization in Mars, Io, and Titan. She leads the NASA Astrobiology Institute project 'Habitability of Hydrocarbon Worlds: Titan and Beyond'.

Education includes a B.Sc. in Astronomy and Ph.D. in Planetary Science from University College London.
