Roi Cohen Kadosh is Professor of Cognitive Neuroscience and Head of the School of Psychology at the University of Surrey. His research focuses on the biological foundations of learning, particularly how neurotechnology and neurobiology influence cognition across development.
His work explores the role of neural excitation-inhibition balance in learning processes, and he has pioneered personalized brain-based interventions like transcranial Random Noise Stimulation (tRNS) to enhance attention and learning in typical and atypical development. He bridges neuroscience, psychology, education, and AI technologies to create scalable tools for improving educational outcomes.
Cohen Kadosh founded Cognite Neurotechnology Ltd, a University of Surrey spin-in company developing AI-driven home-based neurotechnology solutions. His research has implications for understanding how brain states modulate learning and how non-invasive brain stimulation can be applied in educational contexts.
