Robyn Quinnett is a Lecturer in Music at Smith College, commencing her position in fall 2023. She is a distinguished violinist with performance experience in major orchestras including the American Symphony Orchestra, Glimmerglass Festival Orchestra, and as Principal Second Violin of the Sphinx Virtuosi.

Dr. Quinnett's professional focus centers on violin performance and pedagogy, with deep commitment to community-based music education. She actively advances accessible arts programming through her board membership and teaching artist role with Living Arts Collaborative, and by founding The Montserrat Music Festival to deliver chamber music and instruction on her native Caribbean island.

She has served as Violin Faculty at the Sphinx Performance Academy across multiple institutions including Curtis Institute of Music and Cleveland Institute of Music. Dr. Quinnett maintains active ensemble work with Sphinx Virtuosi while developing community music initiatives through Living Arts Collaborative, demonstrating integrated leadership in performance, education, and cultural outreach.
