Rina Mauricio

Rina Mauricio, M.D., is an Assistant Professor in the Department of of Internal Medicine at UT Southwestern Medical Center and a member of its Division of Cardiology. She specializes in echocardiography, preventive cardiology, and women’s cardiovascular health.

• Educated at New York University School of Medicine
• Completed residency in internal medicine and fellowships in cardiology and cardiovascular imaging at UT Southwestern
• Board-certified in cardiovascular disease, echocardiography, and nuclear cardiology

Research focuses on cardio-obstetrics, preventive cardiology, and women's cardiac health. She founded UTSW’s Multidisciplinary Cardio-obstetrics Conference and co-chairs the advocacy subcommittee of the Supporting Women in Achieving Greatness Committee at UT Southwestern. Active in teaching residents, fellows, and nurses.
