Shuaib Abdullah

Shuaib Abdullah, M.D., M.S., is an Associate Professor in the Department of Internal Medicine at UT Southwestern Medical Center. He is affiliated with the Division of Cardiology and serves as Director of Non-Invasive Cardiac Imaging at the Dallas VA Medical Center. Dr. Abdullah holds a bachelor’s degree in biochemistry from Texas A&M University, a medical degree, and a master’s in clinical science from UT Southwestern, where he completed residency and cardiology fellowship training. He also pursued specialized cardiac MRI training at Brigham and Women's Hospital in Boston.

As Director of Non-Invasive Cardiac Imaging at the Dallas VA Medical Center, Dr. Abdullah bridges clinical practice and research. His career spans academic leadership at UT Southwestern since 2010 and advanced training in cardiology, emphasizing innovative imaging and cardiovascular disease prevention.
