Amit Khera, M.D., M.Sc., is a Professor in the Department of Internal Medicine at UT Southwestern Medical Center. He serves as Director of the Preventive Cardiology Program and Chief of Cardiology Clinical Operations, holding the Dallas Heart Ball Chair in Hypertension and Heart Disease. As Past President of the American Society for Preventive Cardiology and Fellow of the American Heart Association/American College of Cardiology, he focuses on cardiac risk assessment and risk factor modification.
