Professor Richard Goldberg is a Professor of Law at Durham University, holding dual affiliations with the Durham Law School and the Durham CELLS (Centre for Ethics and Law in the Life Sciences). He previously held academic positions at institutions including the London School of Economics, King's College London, and the University of Aberdeen before joining Durham in 2012. His research focuses on product liability, tort law, pharmaceutical law, and causation in medical litigation. Goldberg is renowned for his treatise Product Liability (3rd edn, 2019), which has been cited in major court decisions across multiple jurisdictions.
