Reja Younis is a Research Fellow affiliated with the Henry A. Kissinger Center for Global Affairs at Johns Hopkins SAIS, while concurrently serving as Program Manager and Research Associate with the Project on Nuclear Issues at the Center for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS). Her academic work focuses on emerging technologies' impact on nuclear deterrence and global security frameworks.
Education: Earned BS in Social Sciences & Liberal Arts from the Institute of Business Administration (highest honors in Political Science), followed by MA in International Relations from the University of Chicago. Currently pursuing a PhD in International Relations at Johns Hopkins SAIS with a major in Strategic Studies.
Research interests emphasize modern security challenges at the intersection of technology and nuclear strategy. She leads CSIS initiatives analyzing AI, cyber, and hypersonic weapons' implications for international stability.
