Liliane Stadler is an AJI Postdoctoral Fellow at the Henry A. Kissinger Center for Global Affairs, Johns Hopkins University’s School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS). She previously lectured in the History of International Relations at the University of Utrecht. Her work focuses on the evolving role of neutral states within transatlantic security frameworks, particularly NATO’s Partnership for Peace (PfP) post-1994 and Cold War-era interpretations of neutrality. Stadler holds a DPhil (2021) and MPhil (2016) in History and International Relations from the University of Oxford, and a Master’s from the University of St. Andrews.
