- Education: PhD in the School of History at the Australian National University
Her research extends to battlefield tourism and commemoration, exemplified by her leadership in study tours to Gallipoli and other Anzac battlefields. Notably, she co-authored Anzac Journeys: Returning to the Battlefields of World War II (Cambridge University Press, 2013), which explores post-war pilgrimage traditions and their historical significance.
Research trends include intersections of oral history, intergenerational perspectives, and Anzac legacy studies. Her work often bridges public history, military history, and educational outreach.
