Dr. Rebecca E Lacey is a Reader in Social and Lifecourse Epidemiology at the Population Health Research Institute, St George's, University of London (merged as City St George's). Her research applies lifecourse approaches to study early life adversities, young carers, and mental/physical health using longitudinal datasets (e.g., Millennium Cohort Study, ALSPAC). She leads projects like YoungCare (Nuffield-funded, 2023-2026) on young carers' inequalities and PACO (2023-2025) on child physical punishment in the UK.
