Dr. Rachel Rundle is a public health nutritionist with 20 years of professional experience, currently serving as academic staff in the Department of Service Sector Management at Sheffield Business School, Sheffield Hallam University since 2008. She holds a Doctorate from Sheffield Hallam University (2002) focusing on family life's impact on food behavior, alongside qualifications in Human Nutrition and Medical Electronics.
Her teaching focuses on public health nutrition, maternal/infant health, behavior change, and food poverty. Research interests center on maternal and infant nutrition, adolescent pregnancy nutrition, and food systems' societal impacts. Notable projects include the BELLA study examining pregnancy nutrition support and investigations into takeaway/dark kitchen consumer behavior.
