Rachel Nayani is an Associate Professor in Organisational Behaviour and Human Resource Management at Norwich Business School, University of East Anglia. She is a member of the Employment Systems and Institutions (ESI) research group and Peer Review College. Her expertise lies in qualitative research, particularly case study designs, and she has conducted studies for the ESRC, British Academy, and Leverhulme Trust.

Her research focuses on employee perspectives of equality, inclusion, and workplace wellbeing, emphasizing sustainable change and the dynamics of organizational relationships. Recent projects include designing interventions for workplace wellbeing (ESRC-funded, 2019–2022) and exploring distributed workers' occupational health (Institute of Occupational Safety and Health, 2015–2016).
Teaching: She leads modules on organizational development and mentors live international management consulting projects for Executive MBA students. She also supervises doctoral candidates, particularly in diversity and green practices.
