Kevin Daniels is a Professor of Organizational Behaviour at Norwich Business School, University of East Anglia. He leads research on workplace wellbeing, safety, and organizational psychology. His roles include founding member of the Employment Systems and Institutions group and former Director of Research at Loughborough University’s Business School (2003-2012). He holds fellowships from the British Psychological Society, Academy of Social Sciences, and Royal Society of Arts.
Education: PhD in Applied Psychology (Cranfield University, 1991), BA in Psychology (University of Liverpool, 1988).
Research focuses on developing policies to enhance workplace wellbeing, with funding from the Economic and Social Research Council, ESRC, and others. Recent projects include interventions for NHS staff wellbeing and police mindfulness programs. He serves as associate editor of the British Journal of Management and co-editor of Springer’s occupational health sciences handbook.
Key awards include the Humboldt Foundation Research Award (2022). Media engagements include BBC and Heart Radio discussions on workplace wellbeing. Collaborations span sectors like policing, healthcare, and local government to translate academic findings into practical solutions.
