Rachel Mazzucco serves as Lecturer of Harp and Music Theory at Texas Tech University's School of Music, where she has taught Music Theory and Aural Skills courses since 2011 and recently joined the performance faculty as Instructor of Harp. She concurrently holds Principal Harp positions with the Lubbock Symphony Orchestra (since 2013), Amarillo Symphony Orchestra (since 2014), Ballet Lubbock, and Lubbock Chorale, maintaining an active performance career specializing in 20th-century repertoire.
Her academic background includes:

- M.M. in Music Performance from Texas Tech University
- Currently ABD for PhD in Music Theory at Texas Tech University
Ms. Mazzucco's research centers on Musical Form and 20th century harp music, with specific focus on set theory applications and pattern completion in Paul Hindemith's compositions. Her scholarly work has been presented at conferences spanning local, regional, and international venues, contributing to evolving theoretical frameworks in contemporary music analysis.
