Kimberly Sparr serves as Associate Professor of Viola at Louisiana State University's School of Music, where she maintains an active dual career as both a performer and educator. She is a founding member of the Atlantic Chamber Ensemble and holds the position of assistant principal viola with the Colorado Music Festival Orchestra.

She has held previous teaching appointments at Texas Tech University, The College of William & Mary, and University of Maryland, Baltimore County, reflecting her commitment to training emerging musicians through applied instruction and mentorship.
Her professional activities include extensive orchestral engagements as former assistant principal violist of the Richmond Symphony (2008-2013), performances with the Saint Paul Chamber Orchestra and National Symphony Orchestra, and solo appearances with ensembles including the Amarillo Virtuosi, Pittsburgh Civic Orchestra, and Lubbock Symphony Orchestra.
