Rachel Anne Moore is an Associate Professor in the Department of History at Clemson University, affiliated with the College of Arts and Humanities. Her research focuses on Mexican history, particularly the postal system, print culture, and Atlantic world connections. She holds a Ph.D. from the University of California, Berkeley (2006), where she was a Bancroft Library Fellow. Moore's work includes studies on Veracruz's role in Mexican identity formation and a forthcoming project on Mexican postal workers. She has received teaching awards from Clemson University (Gentry Award, 2008-2009) and the Dean's Award (2007-2008).
