Queenie Li is an Associate Professor in the Department of Strategic Communication at the University of Miami. She specializes in strategic communication for social change and health promotion, focusing on how organizations and governments leverage communication to address societal challenges and inspire meaningful social impact.
Dr. Li earned her Ph.D. in Mass Communication from the University of South Carolina, establishing her interdisciplinary foundation in communication research. Her scholarly trajectory integrates theoretical frameworks from public relations, organizational studies, psychology, and cultural analysis.
Her research program critically examines strategic public relations, health communication, corporate social responsibility (CSR), and corporate social advocacy (CSA), with emphasis on developing innovative communication strategies for social progress. As evidenced by publications in Communication Research and Public Relations Review, her work bridges academic rigor with practical applications for organizational and governmental impact.
