Dr. Qingfeng Zhai is a Lecturer and ARC DECRA Fellow at the Australia Carbon Materials Centre (A-CMC), School of Chemical Engineering, UNSW Sydney. He earned his PhD in 2018 from the Chinese Academy of Sciences (Changchun Institute of Applied Chemistry), focusing on electrochemical sensors. Postdoctoral work at Monash University (2018–2020) and UNSW Sydney (2020 onwards) advanced flexible energy storage and wearable devices under Prof. Liming Dai. His research emphasizes carbon-based materials for electrocatalysis and sensing, leveraging EC-STM for atomic-scale catalytic mechanism studies. Awards include an ARC DECRA Fellowship (2024–2026). Key projects involve developing carbon catalysts for energy conversion and green chemistry applications.
