معرفی
Dr. Emma Lovell is a Senior Lecturer and ARC DECRA Fellow in the School of Chemical Engineering at UNSW Sydney. She specializes in developing advanced catalysts for renewable energy applications, focusing on sustainable ammonia production and CO2 conversion technologies.
- Key research themes: Power-to-X, plasma catalysis, and atomic-scale catalyst design
- Works with the Particles and Catalysis (PartCat) Research Group
- 2016 PhD graduate from UNSW in CO2 conversion catalyst development
Her work leverages solar energy and plasma chemistry to replace fossil fuel-dependent processes like the Haber-Bosch ammonia synthesis. Recent research explores light-assisted catalysis, defect engineering, and bimetallic systems for cleaner chemical production.
As an ARC DECRA Fellow, she investigates innovative pathways for nitrogen fixation and carbon dioxide utilization. Her publications demonstrate a focus on electrochemical systems, plasma-catalytic interactions, and nanostructured materials.
