Puneet Manchanda is the Isadore and Leon Winkelman Professor of Marketing at the University of Michigan's Ross School of Business. He holds a PhD and MPhil from Columbia University, an MBA from IIM-A, and a BSEE from BITS Pilani. Previously, he was on the faculty at the University of Chicago’s Booth School of Business and served as Chair of Ross’s Marketing Area from 2010 to 2016. His research focuses on applying AI, machine learning, and econometrics to solve strategic business problems in technology, e-commerce, healthcare, and pharmaceuticals. He has published over 40 articles in top journals, with over 8,000 citations. Notable awards include the Ross Senior Faculty Research Award (2021) and multiple teaching excellence recognitions. He consults for industries like hi-tech and pharmaceuticals and sits on corporate boards.
