Priyanka Pandey is a Lecturer in Public Services and Technology at King's Business School, King's College London. Her research focuses on the intersection of digital technologies, public sector organizations, and global south contexts, examining how technology influences power structures, institutional mechanisms, and social change. She holds a PhD in Management Information Systems from Royal Holloway University of London and an MSc in Management, Information Systems, and Innovation from the London School of Economics (LSE).
Her academic contributions include studies on mobile health (mHealth) in India, digital empowerment frameworks, and critical analyses of technology's role in development. Notable publications appear in the Information Systems Journal and Journal of the Association for Information Systems. She is a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy.
Priyanka teaches Digital Innovation, Analytics, and Research Methods across UK institutions, including Westminster Business School and LSE Summer School. She currently serves as Deputy Programme Director for the Management & Technological Change MSc at King's Business School.
Her research emphasizes deconstructing power dynamics in technology adoption, particularly in public health management and community-driven initiatives. Recent work explores digital inclusion challenges and the sociotechnical dimensions of empowerment in global development contexts.
