Pooja Vaddadi is an Adjunct Professor teaching Legal Writing II at Seattle University. As a career public defender and expert trial attorney, she brings practical experience in criminal defense from her work across Snohomish, King, and Pierce counties. Her teaching emphasizes trial advocacy as an integrated skillset, combining foundational legal research with constitutional law applications.
Professor Vaddadi previously served as a public defender with Northwest Defenders Division of the King County Department of Public Defense, handling cases in Seattle Municipal and Superior Courts. She has additional experience as a judicial extern with Justice Alison Tucher (CA First Appellate District) and corporate in-house counsel at DocSend. With seven years of legal practice, she maintains an active interest in judicial reform and court system innovation.
