Correen Ferrentino

Correen Ferrentino is a Lecturer at the UCI Law School and the founding managing attorney of Ferrentino Law, a boutique criminal defense firm in Orange County. With over 29 years of legal experience, she has tried 55 jury trials and 500 court trials, focusing on white collar litigation, major criminal trials, and post-conviction relief. She is a certified criminal law specialist and a member of federal and state legal panels aiding indigent defendants.

Education: B.S. in Psychology from University of California, Irvine (1986); J.D. from Loyola Law School (1994). Clerkships included the Los Angeles District Attorney's Office, Loyola Center for Conflict Resolution, and externship with Hon. Sheila Sonenshine (CA Court of Appeal).

Professional Experience: 10 years as Orange County Deputy Public Defender (1997–2006), specializing in felony/misdemeanor trials, drug court collaborations, and mental health unit representation. Prior roles include associate attorney at Stokke & Riddet and Law Offices of William J. Kopeny.
