Judge Carl Folsom serves as an Adjunct Professor of Trial Advocacy at the University of Kansas School of Law since 2018 and concurrently presides as a Judge for Douglas County District Court since 2022. He holds a J.D. (2005) and B.A. (2002) from the University of Kansas.
His career spans roles including trial attorney at the Office of the Federal Public Defender (Topeka), attorney mentor in the District of Kansas’s Second Chair Program, and faculty member of the Federal CJA Trial Skills Academy.
