Pola Wickham is a Professor in the Visual Arts department at Temple University Rome. Born in London, she studied painting at the Leo Marchutz School in Aix-en-Provence, the New York Studio School, and earned her MA at Yale. Her work has been exhibited internationally across the USA, UK, Holland, Italy, and Spain.

Wickham specializes in mural creation, with installations at the European Space Agency (Netherlands) and public/private spaces globally. She also engages in interdisciplinary projects, including a drawing initiative for Parkinson’s patients, documented in her film Connect/Disconnect (collaboration with Elisabetta Lodoli). Currently, she teaches at the university level and maintains a rigorous private studio practice.
