Piotr Tryjanowski

Piotr Tryjanowski is a Hans Fischer Senior Fellow at the Technical University of Munich’s Institute for Advanced Study (TUM-IAS), hosted by Prof. Annette Menzel. His research focuses on ecology, ornithology, and conservation biology, with a strong emphasis on citizen science and climate change impacts. He leads the 'Citizen Science Nature Watch' focus group, exploring human-nature interactions and biodiversity monitoring. Tryjanowski’s work bridges ecological science with practical conservation, addressing topics like urban ecology, agricultural biodiversity, and avian phenology.
