Ping Su is an Associate Professor of Management and Entrepreneurship and serves as Chair at the Frank G. Zarb School of Business, Hofstra University. She holds a PhD and MS in Operations Management from the John M. Olin School of Business at Washington University in St. Louis, and a BE in MIS from the School of Economics and Management at Tsinghua University, China.
Her research centers on Global Supply Chain Management and the interdisciplinary interface between Operations Management, Finance, Economics, and Technology Management. She has published in leading peer-reviewed journals such as Manufacturing & Service Operations Management, European Journal of Operational Research, Omega, IIE Transactions, and International Journal of Production Economics. Her coauthored research monograph appears in the Foundations and Trends in Technology, Information and Operations Management series by NOW, Boston-Delft.
Prior to joining Hofstra, she was a faculty member at the State University of New York at New Paltz's McCombs School of Business. In 2013, she received the Dean’s Research Award at the Frank G. Zarb School of Business, recognizing her scholarly contributions.

She teaches undergraduate and graduate courses including Introduction to Operations & Supply Chain Management, Supply Chain Logistics & Distribution Management, Service Operations Management, and Business Internships. As Department Chair, she plays a leadership role in academic administration and curriculum development.
Ping Su is actively engaged in research and education, contributing to both theoretical and practical advancements in operations and supply chain management. Her interdisciplinary approach bridges business functions and supports innovative decision-making in global enterprises.
