Pierre Siklos

Pierre Siklos is a Professor of Economics at Wilfrid Laurier University, Canada. He holds a PhD (1981) and has held visiting roles at institutions globally, including the Bank for International Settlements, Hoover Institution (Stanford), and the Bank of Japan. His research focuses on central banks, monetary policy, inflation, and financial markets.

• Former Director of the Viessmann European Research Centre (2005–2014).
• Member of the Monetary Policy Council of the C.D. Howe Institute since 2008.
• Research Fellow at C.D. Howe Institute since August 2010.

Notable fellowships include Erskine Fellow (1999), William Evans Fellow (2009), and FFJ/Banque de France Chair (2021–2022). His work has been funded by national/international organizations.
