Eric Mengus

Eric Mengus is an Associate Professor of Economics and Decision Sciences at HEC Paris. He holds a Ph.D. in Economics from Toulouse School of Economics (2014) and an engineering degree from Ecole Polytechnique. His research focuses on macroeconomics, international finance, and monetary policy, with notable work on sovereign debt, household insurance, and fiscal-monetary interactions. He previously served as a researcher at the Banque de France and currently holds editorial roles as a reviewer for top journals like the American Economic Journal: Macroeconomics and Econometrica.
