Dr. Philip Fine is a Reader in Psychology at the University of Buckingham's School of Psychology, part of the Faculty of Computing, Law and Psychology. He holds degrees from Cambridge (BA, MA) and a DPhil from Oxford. His research focuses on expertise, creativity, cyberpsychology, music psychology, and time perception. He co-founded the CREATE hub and currently explores expert crossword solving, quizzing expertise, and 'time personality.' He teaches modules in Cognitive Psychology and supervises doctoral students in areas like cyberbullying and medical diagnostics. Recent publications address cyberaggression interventions, creativity methodologies, and pandemic-related leisure activities. He actively contributes to academic conferences and editorial work.
