Dr. Peter Olshavsky is an Associate Professor of Architecture at the University of Kansas, serving as Assistant Chair in the School of Architecture & Design. He holds a Ph.D. and M.Arch. II from McGill University, specializing in architectural history and theory, and a B.Arch. from The Pennsylvania State University. Prior academic roles include positions at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, McGill University, Temple University, and professional practice in Philadelphia. His research focuses on late-modern architecture's history and theory, enriched by his Fulbright scholarship. Recent publications include contributions to LOG, Steven Holl’s exhibition catalog, and a forward for Alberto Pérez-Gómez’s work. Current projects include a book on Daniel Libeskind’s pedagogical approach at Cranbrook Academy of Art.
