Ufuk Ersoy is an Associate Professor and Robert Mills Professor (2018-19) in Architecture at Clemson University, affiliated with the College of Arts and Humanities. He co-directs the Ph.D. program in Planning, Design and the Built Environment. Ersoy teaches history, theory, and design, with a focus on architectural glass and interdisciplinary design. He holds a Ph.D., M.S., and M.Arch. from the University of Pennsylvania, and B.Arch. degrees from Dokuz Eylul University and Izmir Institute of Technology.

Ersoy's research explores glass in architecture, utopian visions, and sustainable design. His doctoral work on glass cultures between the 19th and 20th centuries has been published widely. He co-edited Architecture in Turkey: A Glocal Production (2010) and edited 100 Years of Clemson Architecture (2015). Recent publications include studies on Mies van der Rohe's Friedrichstraße skyscraper and Paul Scheerbart's glass utopias.

Ersoy has lectured globally at institutions like Newcastle University and Seoul National University. He has also participated in architectural competitions, notably winning awards with Clarissa Mendez and leading firms like Tozkoparan Architects and Ove Arup.
