Peter Berglez is a Professor of Media and Communication Studies at Örebro University, Sweden. He holds a PhD (2006), Docent (2011), and full professorship (2015) in the field. His research focuses on global journalism, climate communication, and interprofessional media relations. Berglez pioneered the concept of 'sustainable journalism' to address environmental and societal challenges in media practices. He has led projects funded by Formas, SIDA, and the Swedish Research Council, exploring topics like climate discourse, social media elite networks, and cross-border journalism.
