Peta Myers

Peta Myers is a Senior Lecturer in Finance and Accounting at the University of Exeter's Business School. She serves as the Director for Equality, Diversity and Inclusivity (EDI) in her department and leads the Finance and Accounting pedagogy seminar and research group for Education and Scholarship colleagues. Her teaching focuses on first-year Financial Accounting and Business and Management Accounting cohorts, with over twenty years of experience in financial accounting education.

Her research centers on creating inclusive learning environments through qualitative studies of accounting education, informed by social justice and critical realism frameworks. She explores equity challenges in higher education institutions and investigates student struggles with accounting principles and standards.

Peta has contributed to pedagogical development through the Help 2 Grow Executive Education Series at the University of Exeter. She is certified as a Management and Business Educator by the Chartered Association of Business Schools (2020).
