Professor Musarrat Maisha Reza is an Associate Professor of Biomedical Sciences and Health Equity at the University of Exeter's Faculty of Health and Life Sciences, where she leads the Department of Clinical and Biomedical Sciences as Director of Equality, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI). She holds a PhD in Skeletal Muscle Physiology from Nanyang Technological University (2017) and has held academic roles at the University of Exeter since 2020, transitioning from Lecturer to Senior Lecturer (2022-2025) and ultimately Associate Professor (2025 onwards). Her teaching expertise spans modules in Experimental Design, Decolonizing Medicine, Human Physiology, and Pharmacology.

A certified Senior Fellow of the Higher Education Academy and Education Incubator Fellow, her work aligns with the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) 3, 4, 5, 10, and 16.
