Pengxiang Shen

Pengxiang Shen is a Research Fellow at Harvard University, currently working in Daniel Kahne’s lab. His research focuses on the assembly of Gram-negative bacterial outer membranes using synthetic chemistry and bacterial protein biology to develop novel antibiotics targeting drug-resistant strains.

He earned his PhD in Chemistry from The Scripps Research Institute under Jin-Quan Yu, where he specialized in Pd-catalyzed C-H activation synthetic methodologies.
