Professor Paul Roderick is a public health academic at the University of Southampton's Faculty of Medicine, holding a personal chair since 2007. He leads research in chronic disease epidemiology, particularly chronic kidney disease (CKD) and chronic liver disease, while addressing health inequalities and alcohol-related harm prevention.

With 34 completed PhD/MD supervisions and ongoing research, he contributes to policy development as a NICE Guidelines Committee member and through NIHR/KRUK grants. His work integrates clinical, epidemiological, and public health perspectives across primary care, aging populations, and health systems optimization.
