Professor Paul Formosa serves as the Research Training Director in the School of Humanities at Macquarie University, where he belongs to the Discipline of Philosophy. He previously held leadership positions including Head of the Department of Philosophy, founding co-Director of the Macquarie University Ethics and Agency Research Centre, and Director of the Centre for Agency, Values and Ethics (CAVE). Formosa has been an elected member of the University Senate and Faculty of Arts Board, and served as Department PhD and MRes Director.
His research expertise spans multiple philosophical domains with particular depth in:
