Patrick Steffen is an Adjunct Professor in the Department of Psychophysiology at Saybrook University. He holds a PhD in Clinical Health Psychology from the University of Miami and completed a post-doctoral fellowship in cardiovascular behavioral medicine at Duke University Medical Center. At Brigham Young University, he has served as a Professor of Psychology, Director of Clinical Training, and Alcuin Fellow in the Honors Program. He is a Fellow of the Association for Applied Psychophysiology and Biofeedback and has held editorial roles, including Associate Editor for Applied Psychophysiology and Biofeedback and board memberships for other journals. His research focuses on behavioral medicine, biofeedback, psychotherapy, and the cultural and spiritual dimensions of health.
