Dr. Outi Blackburn is a Lecturer in Management and Marketing at Anglia Ruskin University (ARU), affiliated with the Faculty of Business and Law and the Centre for Research into the Organization of Work and Consumption (CROWC) and Centre for Intelligent Supply Chains. Her work bridges academic research and industry expertise, focusing on sustainability transitions in industrial systems through digital platforms.

Outi supervises PhD students in business and management fields, teaches modules on marketing, management, entrepreneurship, and business strategy, and brings international industry experience to her academic roles. She is a certified external examiner by AdvanceHE and actively contributes to the Academy of Management, European Academy of Management, and British Academy of Management.
