Emily Mace serves as Deputy Head of School MET and Lecturer in Marketing and Strategy at Anglia Ruskin University's School of Management within the Faculty of Business and Law. She joined ARU as an Associate Lecturer in 2020 and transitioned to full-time Lecturer in August 2021, overseeing undergraduate courses and degree apprenticeships.
Her academic credentials include:
- BA (Hons) Tourism Management from Anglia Ruskin University
- MSc International Hospitality and Tourism Management from Anglia Ruskin University
- PG Cert from Anglia Ruskin University
- PhD in Marketing, Tourism, and Mega-events (currently finalizing) from Coventry University
Her research examines Place Branding, International Marketing, and Social Media Marketing with specialized focus on Tourism development and Mega-sport events. She investigates how digital marketing strategies influence destination branding and event tourism, particularly through social media engagement in large-scale sporting contexts.
Her scientific recognition includes:

Emily supervises undergraduate and postgraduate major projects while leading key modules including International Marketing and Brand Management (Level 7), Tourism Management and Innovation (Level 5), and Specialist Events Planning (Level 5). As Course Leader for Digital Marketing programs, she manages both Distance Learning and Degree Apprenticeship versions.
