Oskar Jonsson is an Associate Researcher at Lund University within the Active and Healthy Ageing Research Group and the LU Profile Area: Proactive Ageing. His research focuses on human-environment interaction, sustainable aging, and the intersection of design, health, and gerontology. He holds a PhD in Industrial Design, an MFA in History/Theory of Design, and degrees in Furniture Design and Cabinet Making.
Key research interests include aging populations, housing design, and the integration of diverse knowledge systems. He has contributed to over 50 publications, 12 projects including SUN-AGE and NeighbourAble, and supervised PhD student Joakim Frögren. Jonsson serves as Impact Officer for SWEAH and teaches universal design at the Occupational Therapist Program.
