Marianne Granbom is a Senior Lecturer and Associate Professor at Lund University's Faculty of Medicine, Department of Health Sciences. As a Registered Occupational Therapist and Research Team Manager for the Active and Healthy Ageing Research Group, she leads interdisciplinary studies on housing, aging, and wellbeing.

Her research examines:
- Person-environment relations in aging populations
- Impact of neighborhood transitions on elderly wellbeing
- Housing adaptations for health changes

Recent studies focus on collaborative housing models, pandemic impacts on seniors, and accessibility evaluations using citizen science. Her work spans Sweden and Germany, combining qualitative (photo-elicitation) and quantitative methodologies.
