Tove Harnett is an Associate Professor and Senior Lecturer at Lund University's School of Social Work, affiliated with the LU Profile Area: Proactive Ageing. She holds a PhD from 2010 titled The Trivial Matters. Everyday power in Swedish eldercare. Her research focuses on power dynamics in elderly care, methodological approaches in qualitative studies, and evaluation methodologies.
Teaching responsibilities include courses on social science theory and reflective practice for BSc Social Work students. She has also taught qualitative methods at Jönköping University.
