Christina Löfvendahl is a Postdoctoral Fellow at the Active and Healthy Ageing Research Group in the Medical Faculty, Lund University, since March 2025. Her work bridges housing development, public health, and policy analysis to address the needs of ageing populations.
- Education: B.A. in Health- and Care Management (Lutheran University of Applied Science Nuremberg); M.Sc. in Public Health (University of Applied Sciences Fulda); Ph.D. in Public Health (Lund University, 2025).
Research Focus: Christina investigates how housing policies and the built environment influence health outcomes for older adults. Her work includes simulation modelling, cost-benefit analysis, and systematic reviews, with a strong emphasis on ageing in place and sustainable urban development. She contributes to UN Sustainable Development Goals 3 (Health) and 11 (Sustainable Cities).
