Dr. Orhan Agirdag is a Professor in the Department of Educational Sciences at the Free University of Brussels (VUB), with affiliations at Ghent University’s Sociology Department and KU Leuven. His research focuses on educational inequality, multilingualism, and the experiences of racialized and ethnic minority students. He has contributed extensively to understanding how school segregation, language policies, and teacher beliefs impact academic outcomes, particularly in Flanders and Southwest China.
