Anouck de Bruijn

Anouck de Bruijn is a Junior Researcher and PhD student affiliated with the End-of-Life Care Research Group and NEUR (Neuroprotection and Neuromodulation) at Vrije Universiteit Brussel (VUB). Since 2020, she has worked at the regional Centre of Expertise on Dementia in Antwerp, combining her clinical expertise with doctoral research.

• Certificate as Reference Person for Dementia (Flanders Centre of Expertise on Dementia, 2018)
• Postgraduate Certificate in Neurogenic Communication Disorders (Artevelde University of Applied Sciences, 2020)

Her research focuses on developing a web-based tool to support individuals with early-onset dementia and their (in)formal caregivers. She previously worked as a speech and language therapist for four years, specializing in neurogenic communication disorders.
