Oraly Sanchez Ferras is an Associate Professor in the Department of Biology at the University of Sherbrooke with secondary affiliation in the Department of Human Genetics at McGill University. Laboratory: The Sanchez-Ferras Laboratory studies how intermediate mesoderm-derived cells transform through pronephros, mesonephros, and metanephros stages to form adult kidneys, with emphasis on cellular communication, collective migration, and apoptosis mechanisms disrupted in CAKUT and cancer.
