Onur Bayar is a Professor of Finance at the Alvarez College of Business, University of Texas at San Antonio (UTSA). He holds a Ph.D. in Finance from Boston College, an M.S. in Financial Economics from Carnegie Mellon University, and a B.S. in Industrial Engineering from Boğaziçi University. His research focuses on theoretical and empirical corporate finance, emphasizing IPOs, mergers & acquisitions, capital structure, entrepreneurial finance, and venture capital dynamics.
